The Clerk of the Supreme Court is the public office and record keeper for the Commonwealth Supreme Court and assists the Supreme Court in carrying out other constitutional responsibilities. The Clerk of Supreme Court is primarily responsible for maintaining the Court’s case management by docketing appeals and petitions; ensuring documents are in compliance with court rules; accepting or rejecting document filings; disseminating all orders, decisions, and opinions of the Court; and scheduling oral arguments.

Supreme Court law clerks research case law, prepare memoranda, draft orders and opinions, and perform other administrative duties under the direction of a justice. They also assist with community outreach programs.
